Research & practical know-how

As part of JP HAVENS Graanhandel NV, a Netherlands-based private feed-company, HAVENS® Feed Concentrates can use all available research-facilities within the company. All incoming raw materials will be tested in our in-house laboratory to make sure they meet our high requirements. Also, all our finished products will be checked in our own laboratory to check if the level of protein, carbohydrates, fat and other important parameters are as specified.
 
Over the years, HAVENS has been engaged in numerous experimental- and field-tests together with confirmed Research-Centers and/or with our customers. Feed-research can be done by several modern methods and analysis, from microscopic or chemical analysis to the most advanced means like NIRS, HPLC or UPLC. Since the early 1980ies, we have build-up an impressive Feed Data Base on hundreds of feed-ingredients.
 
To make sure our research stays up-to-date we also work closely with our local partners. Therefore, we analyse local raw materials and work with these numbers while composing our feed. This way we can help our partners to achieve the best and give them optimal support.
